We had our first snow fall/ice strom over the weekend.

Basically it rained all day Friday, then it turned into ice pellets and snow. And everything froze. The roads seemed safe and dry the following morning, but the car was covered in a 3cm thick layer of ice. It seems the rest of this week will be cold enough for this snow cover to stay. Plus the little bit of snow that is exected over the next few days will ensure we have a good base.
